Shadow Sphere

The Magic Spheres play a significant role in Nihilian Effect. After the War of Absolution and Oblidarius was imprisoned, the Dervanni attempted to free him. As a result, Lianandra desolated their homeland, turning it into a baren wasteland and to prevent another attempt from ever happening again, she also sealed all magic into spheres, which the Dervanni placed in a pyramid at the center of their homeland for safekeeping. As a result of the sealing, magic is minimally used, mostly only by those whose species has inate magic abilities. At present scholars have found new ways to tap into the magic held by the spheres. By super condensing emerdald fruits into marble like gems, one can draw double the amount of energy normally accessable, but even that is still only a fraction of what was possible before.
